Here at Kim Clifford Distillery New Zealand, we commit to promoting responsible drinking. Responsibility is of particular importance given the products we deal with. Our products are for most people associated with pleasure, enjoyment, and socializing, but can have quite the opposite effect when not handled responsibly. All our marketing activities are conducted with care for the consumer and under local advertising laws.

We believe responsible drinking is consistent with the maintenance of a balanced and positive lifestyle for most adults who choose to drink. For this reason, we would like to recommend the following reading:

Social Responsibility Policy

Alcohol will NOT be sold to minors.

 

Our website requires the buyer to tick an on-screen box declaring that they are 18 years of age or over when they first enter our site and again immediately before the sale of alcohol is completed.

 

All delivery parcels containing alcohol will be labelled with a Kim Clifford courier/delivery warning label – ID required.

 

All staff delivering goods containing alcohol are trained on ID collection and will ask for proof of age if the recipient appears to be under the age of 25.

 

The only acceptable forms of ID are:

• Current NZ Drivers Licence
• Any current Passport
• HNZ 18+ Card or Kiwi Access Card

 

All staff delivering goods containing alcohol will not delivery to anyone who is intoxicated.

 

As a company providing a website which hosts information and sales for alcohol, our team is trained in the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act (SSAA) 2012.

 

Our team is aware of their responsibilities under the SSAA 2012.

 

Alcohol will not be promoted in an irresponsible manner.

 

Alcohol will not be delivered after 11pm at night and before 6am in the morning.
